Teacher Observation Blog

Yesterday I went to the Mary Welsh Elementary School to observe the music teacher Mrs. Wetjen. The classroom felt very engaging looked very decorated. The teacher took her time to decorate the room with pictures and posters with facts about famous composers and other music facts. To help the students see the teacher she arranged the chairs in a semi-oval so that every student could be seen and every student could see the teacher. When the students sang an important song they all got up and gathered around the teacher. She wouldn't start the lesson until she could see every student. I think the students to a good job learning and paying attention in the class and most of them could sing the songs without their books. The teacher did a great job helping the students along with their lessons.
